Protec remove & deactivate a unit

Remove a unit and stop the service — four steps.

Read the general rules first

ACall before you start. 609-267-2666, Ext 3. Every start and stop of data gets logged on our end.

BScrew it down whenever you can. Sandbag only when the surface won't take a screw.

CThe stainless bolt ships installed — up through the aluminum plate and the dead center of the SWARM. It protects the sensor in transit.

DWork through steps 1 to 4 below, in order. Start with step 1 and do not skip one.

    Write down where it is now

    • The sub-location it is leaving goes on the form. This is the last position on record for this unit.
    • Short and specific, under 30 characters. NE corner of lot, 3212 DeKalb Pike.

    Open the case and power it down

    • Unlock the case and unlock it from its anchor. Combo 5150.
    • Hold the power button 3 seconds until it shuts off.
  3. 3

    Free the unit and pack the hardware

    • Screwed down? Back out the two silver 12" and the black 8". Keep all three.
    • Sandbagged? Lift the bag off. Nothing to unscrew.
    • Bolt back in from underneath — head outside the floor, washer and nut inside on top. No threads out the bottom. Snug only, never over tighten.
    • Keep the unit on site. Protec collects it, unless you have already arranged to drop it off.

7Read the light before you leave

Flashing = 50 ms. Blinking = 1 sec. Breathing = 1 sec fade. Omnidots' own list:

Breathing is the slow fade — that is what 7.6 looks like.

Breathing green / white (7.6) is what you want — measuring and on the server. Then you can leave. Anything else, call tech support before you go.

Low voltage detected, measurement quality might be impaired. Check that the battery has enough charge and the power supply can deliver enough power.

LED disabled by the user in Honeycomb, or the unit has no power.

Protec retirar y desactivar una unidad

Retirar una unidad y detener el servicio: cuatro pasos.

Lea primero las reglas generales

ALlame antes de empezar. 609-267-2666, Ext 3. Cada arranque y cada parada de datos se registra de nuestro lado.

BAtorníllela siempre que se pueda. Saco de arena solo cuando la superficie no acepta tornillo.

CEl perno inoxidable viene instalado — sube por la placa de aluminio y por el centro exacto del SWARM. Protege el sensor en el transporte.

DSiga los pasos 1 a 4 de abajo, en orden. Empiece con el paso 1 y no se salte ninguno.

    Anote dónde está ahora

    • La sub-ubicación que deja va en el formulario. Es la última posición registrada de esta unidad.
    • Corto y específico, menos de 30 caracteres. Esquina NE del lote, 3212 DeKalb Pike.

    Abra la caja y apáguela

    • Desbloquee la caja y suéltela del anclaje. Combinación 5150.
    • Mantenga presionado el botón 3 segundos hasta que se apague.

    Suelte la unidad y guarde los herrajes

    • ¿Atornillada? Saque los dos tornillos plateados de 12" y el negro de 8". Guárdelos los tres.
    • ¿Con saco de arena? Levante el saco. No hay nada que destornillar.
    • Vuelva a poner el perno desde abajo — la cabeza afuera, arandela y tuerca adentro arriba. Sin rosca saliendo por abajo. Solo ajustado, nunca apretado de más.
    • Deje la unidad en el sitio. Protec la recoge, salvo que ya se haya acordado que usted la entregue.

7Lea la luz antes de irse

Destello = 50 ms. Parpadeo = 1 seg. Respiración = desvanecido de 1 seg. Lista de Omnidots:

Respiración es el desvanecido lento — así se ve el 7.6.

Verde / blanco respirando (7.6) es lo que busca — midiendo y en el servidor. Ahí sí se puede ir. Cualquier otra cosa, llame a soporte antes de irse.
